Collection Nouvelle vague

The "Nouvelle Vague" collage collection, created by Pero between 1980 and 1984 at age 30, captures the energy of youth and newfound freedom, marking a pivotal moment in his artistic journey. After returning from a trip to the US, Pero spent four years in a monastery, where he created large-format paintings. This collection served as preparatory work for those larger pieces. The time in the monastery was transformative for Pero—initially considering a life as a monk artist, he eventually realized his true place was in the outside world. Nouvelle Vague remains a testament to this significant period in his career.
